  Dates to Remember

 

February 2nd   MPS Prize Speaking (NEW DATE) 

February 3rd PTA Meeting- 6PM MPS Library

February 15-19   NO SCHOOL Mid Winter Break

 

 

 

When recess is outside in the winter…

1.  No pushing or shoving

2.  No throwing snow

3.  No throwing or jumping on the sleds/snow equipment - treat them with respect!

4.  You must stay within the designated playground boundaries

5.  At the end of recess a signal will be given (whistle etc.) On the signal, you are to immediately stop activity and pick up all equipment you  used and bring it to the monitors. You will then line up quickly at the designated area to go inside.

 

Playground Consequences for Misbehavior

 

1st Violation: Student loses five minutes of recess (time-out on playground).

 

2nd Violation: Student loses ten minutes of recess (time-out on playground).  Classroom teacher will be notified by monitors.

 

3rd Violation: Student sent in to teacher. Next recess period lost (student stays in class).

 

If behavior continues with same student(s) Report to Mr. St. Peter.  The student and the principal will call the student's parents to inform them of the student's behavior and further recess periods will be lost.
